Thank you for celebrating Love Day with us!

June is a powerful month for honoring love in all its forms—Pride Month celebrates LGBTQ+ people and queer love, while Loving Day on June 12th commemorates the 1967 Supreme Court case Loving v. Virginia, which struck down laws banning interracial marriage.

This year CCEJ welcomed over 120 community members for a joyful afternoon of art, music, and celebration. It was a beautiful reminder of how love, equity, and belonging can unite us across communities. We saw an increase in local organizations tabling to share resources with attendees, and the event led to new monthly donor sign-ups in support of our year-round work for justice and equity.
