After hosting Regina Jackson and Saira Rao, authors of “White Women: Everything You Know About Your Own Racism and How to Do Better” as keynote speakers at our Breakfast in March, many people asked CCEJ to keep the conversation going. We’re hosting continuing dialogue online in June to:
continue reflecting on ideas that Regina and Saira shared in their talk and book
envision tangible actions you can take towards racial equity and justice in your community
re-energize and motivate yourself in your own work towards equity and justice
CCEJ's online dialogues will bring people together both in cross-racial conversation and racial affinity groups, where you’ll have an opportunity to share and reflect with people who share similar racial backgrounds. Participants in the online dialogues will be invited to an in-person gathering in July for continued relationship building.
The sessions are offered on two dates - the dialogue prompts will be the same at each session. You are welcome to sign up for one or both sessions. We ask all participants to watch our conversation with Regina and Saira in advance of the dialogue (link here).
